If you are a parent trying to help your child reach their potential, navigating the youth sports can be daunting.  The good news is that it is actually a lot easier than you may think.  All you need is a small group of kids who share an interest in playing and some space to do so, and you can create an environment that is far better for development than the organized programs your children are playing in.  It can be done in a park or even an empty church parking lot.  , I’m willing to work with a select number of parents in the Glendale-Pasadena-Burbank area.  I believe that once parents see how quickly their children can improve, they will push youth program administrators for change.

If you are a recreational league administrator, you might be able to make significantly beneficial changes in just one day.  The younger the children, the easier it is to implement a better alternative.  However, even at older ages, where it becomes more challenging, it is often possible with the right expertise.  A small rural community in North Carolina has produced over a dozen NBA players and multiple All-Stars, thanks to the strategic use of two basketball courts and a wealth of accumulated basketball knowledge.  In the note, could you tell me about your group, where you are located, and what you hope to achieve?  If you are committed to doing something, I’ll do my best to help.
